Shivang Vijay
I am currently studying Robotics/AI at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science. I am a strong engineering professional with over 3 years of industry experience, specializing in the development and integration of algorithms for robotic systems. I am skilled in C++, Python, multi-agent path planning, simulations, deep learning, learning-based perception, and behavioral and predictive motion planning.
I completed undergrad from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu, where I was actively involved in robotics from my first year. I was elected as the Head of the Robotics Club at IIT Jammu, where I delivered various talks and sessions on robotics to students. I also mentored a group of students, conducting tutorials and overseeing mini-projects on robotics.
Before joining CMU, I worked as a Senior Robotics Software Engineer at UNBOX Robotics, where I developed various algorithms for sorting mobile robots. Prior to that, I worked in the Mobile Robotics Department at Addverb Technologies, where I implemented multi-agent path planning, autonomous mapping, and simulations for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
